Walks around the Sompting Downs 

Many different beautiful walks are to be enjoyed in the excellent network of public footpaths, and two large open access hillsides, on the Sompting Estate's downland.

Start points with (limited) parking for exploring this part of the downs include: St Marys Church Sompting, the Lyons Farm retail park, Beggars Bush Car Park and Picnic Area, Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury, Lancing clump. Details of what is to be seen on different walks will be added to this website later.
